Chao-Yang "Tony" Gau, President

Chao-Yang “Tony” Gau, Founder and President of TG OPTIMA, oversees the development of the next generation portfolio investment and trading strategy analytics. He has more than a decade of experience in the areas of technology innovation and securities trading. Before founding TG OPTIMA, he was the Vice President of Citigroup Global Markets where he worked on portfolio trading, pre-trade transaction cost and risk analysis, portfolio construction, multi-day execution strategies, Global Transition Management, and quantitative modeling, and held Series 7, 63, 55 and 3 securities licenses.

Prior to portfolio trading strategies, Tony was the Chief Optimization Developer at LINDO SYSTEMS, a premier optimization software provider. During his time with LINDO, Tony led the effort in the development and design of the first commercial Deterministic Global Solver that gains a world-wide popularity with its pioneering, mathematically proved algorithms.

Tony received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Notre Dame, where he focused his thesis research on process system engineering and parallel computing.

Fang-Ju "Jessica" Lin, Vice President

Fang-Ju “Jessica” Lin, Vice President of Business Management at TG OPTIMA, manages the company’s finance, sales and operations. She has over a decade of experience in operations and finance in the financial industry. Prior to joining TG OPTIMA, she held several accounting and finance roles at UBS(IB) and Northern Trust Company.

Jessica holds an MBA from University of Notre Dame.
